As part of the Birmingham Design Festival's 'Creativity City' theme for 2021, I was chosen to take part in producing a poster for the exhibition on the opening night. 100 creatives took part in total, each producing a 6 sheet poster whereby some where exhibited around the city in the lead up to the festival. They were also printed in the catalogue designed by BDF, and printed by Clarke Print in a variety of colours. Here is my poster, ‘The Workshop of the world,’ the famous catchphrase that was often associated with Birmingham throughout the industrial revolution. I chose to focus on some of the many inventions that were created here in Birmingham and I even learnt of a few new ones creating the poster.
